The book is about 18 1/2" high, and 13" wide, bound with goatskin spine over blue cloth boards blocked in gold, silver and black. There are 264 full color, full page plant portraits, and two tipped in foldout c…olor plates. There is a separate Commentary volume, bound in blue cloth, which includes 10 full page illustrations. This printing of the Commentary is the first time it has been translated from the original Latin into English. There are also three separately cased full-sized color plates suitable for framing. The entire production is housed in a presentation box blocked in gold on the front and spine. The box is approximately 20" high and 13 1/2" wide. The book that this facsimile is taken from is held at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew. This is the first facsimile ever done of this rare book in its entirety. Additional shipping charges will be necessary for this book, and no international shipments are available because of the size.
