Softcover. Condition: Very Good+. N. Davison (illustrator). First Edition. First edition, unbound signatures in a paper case, accompanied by an origninal signed drawing by Davison, and housed in a four flap box with ribbon tie closure. The drawing and most pages have some shallow creasing at their lower fore corner, and there are a couple very small, light spots to the drawing and first page. Overall, this is a bright, Very Good+ copy in a like cover, which has bumps with light creasing to the corners and the tail of the spine. Housed in a Near Very Good enclosure, which has some creasing at the corners, rubbing with areas of smudging and soiling, and the faded limitation number (24/60) penciled at the upper fore corner of the back panel.

Condition: Fine. N. Davison (illustrator). Heavy cardstock folder contains 6 loose 8-pp. gatherings, with 40 hand-drawn litho illustrations,16 in full-color; text printed letterpress. From a limited edition of 60 copies, only 25 of which include a signed pen and ink drawing (present here, in a folder, 7.5" x 11.5"). All housed in a tied portfolio with full-color illustration on front cover. One of the Midland Mystery Plays of Noah's Flood.

Three evocative poems by Richard Selby illustrated by Nigel Davison, set on Romney Marsh - with links to The Fifth Quarter also by Richard Selby. The book was designed and printed on Rives Bookwhite paper and casebound with Hahnermuhle Bugra Butten end papers and covers with a separately printed dust jacket. The book was letterpress printed, set in Perpetual on a Monotype Composition Caster. Hand finished and bound by Nigel Davison. A superb production.
