Soft cover. Condition: Good. First Edition. 16pp + 3 fold-out plans/maps. 13 x 8 inch. Very scarce original Auction Catalogue of historic local interest of the sale of about 150 building plots and houses from this period of rapid development in the Kingston-upon-Thames area. Rusting to staples but still well bound and generally…in nice clean condition, one item has some pencil prices in margin (could be erased but of interest), maps have minor wear and tear but generally good. Includes lots in Woodside Road, Carlton Road, Selbourne Rd, Langley Grove, Mount Road, Coombe Rd, in New Malden. In Kingston several overlooking Coombe Wood Golf Club, including 12 plots in what was then called New Road but is now Renfrew Road (detached houses only with a minimum value of £750). Includes a History and general description of the area. Also comes with an interesting newspaper article stating how poorly attended the auction was and some of the prices realised. Auction was on 2nd May 1907, Architects Messrs Bailey & Wood, Solicitors Nicholson, Graham & Beesly.
