La grande coerenza intellettuale con cui l'autore si è dedicato alla Praxis è testimoniata dalla presenza di diverse partite dal risultato a lui avverso: convinto com'è che proprio dagli errori nascano le idee migliori, Nimzowitsch non esita a mettersi a nudo di fronte ai suoi lettori per meglio trasferire le sue idee. Il risultato è un libro ispirato, pieno di partite di grande interesse e impreziosito dallo stile suggestivo del grande pensatore lettone, ricco di metafore sorprendenti e concetti illuminanti.
