The endpapers are green with illustrations of dogs in a lighter green. There is a scrape to the front cover plate and another scrape to the rear cover. The interior is quite clean and without markings. Very tight. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall.

Interior of book is very clean, no other marks. Elsa Koenig Nitzsche (1880-1952) was an American portrait painter. She exhibited in principal exhibitions in America and abroad and is represented in many American and several foreign collections. A rare copy of her early children's book.
