Illustrated with numerous colour plates tipped onto the pages all as called for except the book is missing the frontispeice plate. Bound in red cloth with fading and light sunning to the spine resulting in loss of the titling to the spine. Black embossed decorative spine and boards whcih show some shelf wear. A couple of niks to the head and tail of the spine with a little associated fraying and one corner lightly bumepd. There is a 2.5 cm split to the cloth along the reat edge of the spine strip. There is a light stain mark to the head of the front board and to the upper fore edges. A slight split to the front inner hinge between the half title page and the title page, though the front board remains firmly attached. There is a light stain mark to the head of the front board and to the upper fore edges and internally several pages have some light finger soiling to the margins. A few of the colour illustrations have a light crease to the margins of the plates, though there is no loss. A good copy.
