Softcover. Condition: Gut. 1. Auflage. Contains a foreword (signed FM, VM, DG) announcing the results of the voting on the 'outer wrappings of its books' invited in Bodkin permitting. The prospectus announces "Florio's Montaigne" (note signed by FM), Homer's "Iliad" (DG), Donne's "Courtier's library" (VM), "Selected essays of William Hazlitt" (G. L. Keynes), "A bihliography of William Hazlitt" (FM), "Love among the haystacks" (DG), "Astrophel & Stella" (Mona Wilson), "Selected poems of Alice Meynell , "The history of Herodotus" (DG). Retrospectus of books published May 1923-June 1930. Description: Sewn marbled paper covers, white paper label with black lettering on the front board. Octavo: 22 × 15 cm; pp. 31, [1]. Set in Caslon Old Face, printed on Auvergne handmade paper. Ref.: Dreyfus: P21 Condition: Paper wrappers with slight edgewear, internally in good condition but some foxing throughout. According to the age a good copy of a fragile and ephemeral production.
