Paperback. Condition: In quite good condition. Demy table, [21cm/8.5in], paperbound with pictorial covers. Fully illustrated with colour plates. Please feel free to inquire as to particulars and/or additional photographs. Locks is Professor Emeritus at UC Santa Cruz. He photographs the biodiversity of nature and masters a visual language for speaking about the wilderness. There is a democracy at work in Locks' imagery. A very respectable copy with a touch of foxing & surface use to endpapers but full-page plates pristine throughout and no inscriptions or labels. The binding is tight and brown cloth boards have just a hint of wear to front top corner tip and faint stain to rear board close to spine. The dust wrapper has some surface wear to covers and front top corner, and a surface stain to rear cover near spine - certainly very presentable. Please see five pictures attached for a closer look.
