The watercolours vary in size from full-page 215 x 135 mm, to small vignettes within printed pictorial borders. Later inscription on a blank front endpaper. Views include : Barricane Bay Sea Tents, Pilton, Clovelly, Fore Street Ilfracombe, Lee, Fish Market Clovelly, Bishop's Tawton, Westaway Barnstaple, Bideford, North Hill Clovelly, Lynmouth, etc. The artist also designed the cap badge for the Royal North Devon Hussars.

Catalogue of the Major Portions of the Freehold, Agricultural, Residential and Sporting Clinton Estate, about 15,624 acres, to be sold in 365 lots. Pp 251 [1] with 8 plates, each plate showing 3 photographs. Unfortunately, as is often the case with these estate catalogues, most of the maps are missing. Only one map remains out of 18. Map present is plan no.1, a large folding colour map of lots 1-95. Card covers, slight damage at the head and tail of the spine. 15,624 acres (about 3 square miles) is a huge area of land, nearly 1% of the county of Devon. This is one of the largest land sales ever held in England. The sale was necessary to pay death duties, and was held at the Town Hall in Great Torrington over 4 days in October 1958.
