First edition thus. 229pp. Jean Nicolas Arthur Rimbaud (1854-1891) was a French poet known for his transgressive and surreal themes and for his influence on modern literature and arts. With the text in French, this is a critical edition of of his works. It has been edited with an introduction and notes by Marcel A. Ruff. The book is bound in the original white card covers with red titling on the spine and red and black titling on the front cover. There is a list of other books by the publisher on rear cover. The book is in very good condition with light shelf wear on the covers and fading to the spine. There is some rubbiong along the bottom edge of the covers. The contents are tight and clean and the book appears to be unread as many of the pages remain unseparated along the top edge. There is a gift inscription on the front free endpaper.
