Condition: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Este estudio determina el nivel de conocimiento de los agricultores sobre los mecanismos de contaminación por plaguicidas, los problemas de salud asociados, relacionados con la exposición a los plaguicidas, para describir las prácticas y… las pautas de uso de los plaguicidas por los pequeños agricultores en la AGL de Ikorodu y para averiguar si los agricultores necesitan capacitación sobre la seguridad y el uso de los plaguicidas.la técnica de muestreo en etapas múltiples se utilizó para obtener datos para este estudio en Ikorodu, AGL. La AGL de Ikorodu está dividida geográficamente en cinco áreas de desarrollo del consejo local (LCDA): Ikorodu Oeste, Ikorodu Norte, Igbogbo, Ijede e Imota. La mayoría de los agricultores (82,6%) no sabían que en Nigeria hay plaguicidas prohibidos. Casi todos los granjeros (99.0%) sabían sobre el Equipo de Protección Personal. La mayoría de los agricultores (96,5%) sabían de qué manera se puede contaminar con plaguicidas. Alrededor del 80% de los agricultores indicaron que había problemas de salud relacionados con la exposición a los plaguicidas. Casi todos los agricultores comprobaron la fecha de caducidad, leyeron la dosis recomendada en el envase, siguieron las instrucciones del agrocomerciante y el consejo de seguridad de la etiqueta del envase. Todos los agricultores almacenan los plaguicidas en un buen lugar, mantienen los plaguicidas lejos de los niños, los animales y los alimentos.
