Soft cover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Mohave III includes the pull-out map of old trails of the region (in VG condition). The book itself includes a great deal of local history as well as numerous photographs, maps, and other illustrations. Its pages are clean, mildly tanned with very little wear. Covers are lightly soiled with a few creases, wrinkles and wear to edges. The two other publications don't show much soiling but include some written notes and marks, some creases and foxing. An excellent group of local history for San Bernardino County and nearby locales. (Note: Photos may show a flash reflection.) PayPal always welcome. Black and white central image of O'Donnell and other female pilots receiving flowers from California Governor C.C. Young before the race began. Humorist Will Rogers referred to the Women's Air Derby as the Powder Puff Derby, the name by which the race is now most commonly known. This was the second year of the Derby, which O'Donnell went on to win. Later in life O'Donnell encouraged Ronald Reagan to enter politics. *OCLC* locates no copies.
