Paperback. Condition: Fair. First Edition. An informative six-page preface, with source list, is followed by a Doukhobor pioneer chronology and an excellent ten-page introduction. Then comes the meat of the book, lifetime reminiscences of twelve Doukhobor pioneers, all born in the late 1800s. Generously illustrated with black and white reproductions of archival photos and contemporary photos of the people featured. Truly a most informative, engaging, and important work. 78 pages. Binding intact. Name atop table of contents. Somewhat above-average external wear with clear tape repair to top of spine. A worthy reference example. ; 4to.
