A little old staple rust is evident in the gutters front and back. Part II. Ojibway and English. 1907. Stated '7th edition in various forms', in the preface.177 pgs. printed in double columns. Original soft cover wraps, including covers, also rebound as a hardcover volume in brown cloth with similar marks where the old staples were removed. Second edition, second thousand of part one (English-Ojibwa), first edition of part two (Ojibwa-English). Abridged from larger dictionaries by British and French compilers, printed in two columns. The Colportage Mission published several tracts intended for the use of Ojibwa Indians, and a list of these works is printed on the rear wrappers. Not in Vancil, CORDELL COLLECTION. BANKS, p.139. 16mo. Original printed wrappers. Spine of first volume lightly worn at head and toe, spine of second volume worn away at head and toe. Front wrapper splitting at joint on second volume. Internally very clean. Overall very good.
