Francis Brewster patented the crosshead club design in 1897 under the name "Simplex." These radical clubs manufactured from putter through driver are very collectable today. Rear cover finger soiled. Slight stain from staples inner hinge area. Name and Edinburgh address neatly penned on the ffep, else clean copy of this scarce book. Covers protected by mylar. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
