Photographs are part of the photo archives held by the Museum of New Mexico at The Palace of the Governors in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Candelario was a well known native of Santa Fe, who photographed many of the small northern New Mexico towns in the 1940s, along with portrait photos of well known people throughout the Norhern NNew Mexico region. A large exhibit of his work was held at New York's Museum of Modern Art during that perios, and all the photographs in the exhibit were purchased by the museum.
