Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. Pub by D. Appleton and Co., 1873, same date TP & CP, NAP. presumed 1st Edition. NOT exLib. VG cond. hardcover, no dj. Purple cloth over beveled bds w/ gilt dec & reverse lettering on front cover, & slightly sunned gilt dec & lettering on spine. Light exterior soiling & wear incl very slight loss to head & heel of spine. Soiled endpapers, o/w internally clean. Hinges & binding sound. Book is complete, intact & unmarked. Illlustrated in b&w. 788pp + 8pp publisher's advts. Square, straight, tight & clean except as noted, overall VG used cond. Same or next day shipping. Please email any questions.
