Olman. This edition was issued to promote the Universal Pictures musical comedy Oh Johnny, How You Can Love! (1940), featuring Betty Jane Rhodes and Tom Brown, whose portrait appears prominently on the cover. The song had already enjoyed decades of popularity before being revived for the film, making this an appealing crossover collectible for enthusiasts of Tin Pan Alley music, classic Hollywood musicals, and Universal Studios memorabilia. Although the song itself dates to 1917, this is not the original first edition.
