Investigaciones históricas y arqueológicas para dar con la tumba de Eusebio Francisco Kino (1645-1711), ilustre evangelizador jesuita originario de Segno, pueblo del norte de Italia. Salió de España en 1681 y ya para en 1687 se estableció en la región del desierto de Sonora, región que llamó la Pimería Alta, lugar donde se asentaban los pimas del norte, allí permaneció hasta su muerte. Sus métodos evangelizadores lo convirtieron en el más destacado explorador europeo y uno de los primeros colonizadores de esta área que posteriormente se dividió entre México, con el estado de Sonora y el estado den Arizona en Estados Unidos. 235x165mm.
