The publisher's own retained copy with their label on the pastedown reading 'file copy 17th August 1933' Poems and short stories. Orgill MacKenzie was a Scottish woman who worked as a teacher. She also published a well received novel, 'The Crooked Laburnum' which was so well received that she was compared to Emily Bronte and Katherine Mansfield. Stories include: The Second Blossoming of Rose Street, The Epitaph, Whitegates. Slight fading at spine and slight discolouration to covers, otherwise very good.
