Leather-covered Boards. Condition: Good. This is a 4.5 inch-thick heavy book which will probably require extra postage. Two complete works in one volume; "Life of the Blessed Virgin Mary." {described above; 524 p.} ; the 2nd book is "The life, doctrine, and sufferings of our blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, as recorded by the four Evangelists" {by Rev. Henry Rutter; 570 p.} -- Each work has additional material, e.g. Meditations on the Litany of Loretto; each vol. also has a few very nice full-page engravings. The cover is embossed leather- covered boards. Corners and edges of the boards are rubbed. One metal hinge and two metal knobs with plates remain; no clasps. SCARCE and expensive in nicer condition. Decorative leather binding. Will require additional postage, but not if you purchase in store! (hint hint).
