This book was translated from the Japanese by Jean Dan and Ruth Sieben-Morgen. The black DJ has several chips and nicks and two 'clean' tears (2.5 and 1.8cm) . The book is slightly cocked. The white cloth covered book is in VG condition with a very small indent on the front board ( also on the overlying DJ but paper not broken). There are maps of Hiroshima and the Hiroshima Prefecture on August 6th 1945 on the front and back endpapers with an index to the sites in the area. 256pp This book is the translation of the origonal in Japanese that was compiled 6 years after the bomb dropped. It is the recollection of some of he children who survived and tells of their experiences that day and after.
