    Contributor copy of this colorful Spalding's Basketball Guide, No. 700x in the Spalding's Athletic Library. This copy belonged to Fred Hayes of Mount Vernon, Ohio, who wrote the "Ohio High School Tournament" article on pg. 175. 17x13cm, 343 plus 32pp rule book at back. Illustrations, advertisements. Red, blue, and gilt decorated wrappers bound in maroon cloth with contributor's name stamped on front cover. Cloth toned and worn along spine, some toning to page block else clean and nearly fine internally.

Carr is listed in the back as an approved official from the state. 16x11cm, 76, [4]pp. Diagrams, photographs. Bound in flexible, maroon cloth boards with owner's name stamped in gilt on upper cover. Owner's name in pen on front pastedown else clean internally. Boards a bit rubbed at rounded corners, nearly fine.

    Historic contributor copy of this iteration of Spalding's Basketball Guide, Spalding's Athletic Library 700r. From the library of Naismith Hall of Fame coach and contributor to the game, Harry A. Fisher (1882-1967). Fisher coached at Fordham, Columbia, St. John's, and the U.S. Military Academy. He sat on the committee that wrote the first rules for collegiate basketball in 1905, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1974. 17x13cm, 158, [2] plus 32pp rule book at back. Illustrations, advertisements. Original green and black illustrated wrappers bound in maroon cloth boards with owner's name in gilt on upper cover. Some edge wear to pages else nearly fine. Boards show some rubbing to edges.
