All pages are present but one of the tipped-in color plates is missing (#97, at page 113). Very good with a few stains on front wrap, spotting at endpapers. Main text not unaffected.

Softcover. Brown paper wraps. 144 pp. 2 color tipped-in plates, 122 bw plates. Issued in conjunction with a 1957 exhibition of artwork rendered by American artist William Merritt Chase (1849-1916). With an extensive introduction by M. L. Otrange-Mastai, and a chronology. The illustrated catalogue presents 124 works, all of which include attributes to their then-current owners. Uncommon and quite thorough. G: Wear to the edges and corners of the wraps, with creasing. Stains and rubbing to the wraps. Missing some of the paper on the spine. There is a stain in the top corner of the book along the spine that can be seen in the margins of several pages at the beginning and end of the book. Clean plates and solid binding.
