Gaudi baute es 1898-1908 als Entwurf der Kirche für die Colonia Güell. Dieses Modell ist 1982 vom Institut für leichte Flächentragwerke der Universität Stuttgart und von der Gaudi-Gruppe der TU Delft nach alten Unterlagen rekonstruiert worden. Mit dieser Veröffentlichung kann nun detailliert die Entstehung von Gaudis Hängemodell und von seinem bedeutendsten Kirchenentwurf nachvollzogen werden. Der komplizierte Prozeß der Modellrekonstruktion wird ebenfalls umfassend dargestellt. Auf der Basis der Modellrekonstruktion, einer Auswertung der erhaltenen Dokumente und einer Untersuchung der ausgeführten Gebäudeteile kann der verschollene Kirchenentwurf erstmals vollständig in Zeichnungen vorgestellt werden. - Dreisprachig deutsch, englisch, spanisch.…
