Hardcover. Condition: Good. TEN IMPORTANT PAPERS by P.A. Hansen (Peter Andreas Hansen). Leipzig, Bei S. Hirtzel, 1865-1870. German Text. Professionally Bound in hardcovers, half calf and cloth covered boards, gilt titling and designs to the spine, five raised spine bands, 7.5x11 inches, approximately 1350 pages (each paper pagin…ated separately), and 4 folding plates. There is a handwritten list of the ten papers affixed to the front pastedown. "P. A. HANSEN'S MEMOIRS" is printed in gilt on the spine. GOOD condition. The covers are cracking at the spine folds but holding well, there is a small shelving label near the bottom of the spine, there is wear to the spine ends and corner tips, the boards have some rubbing, overall the covers are solid and attractive. Internally, there is a handwritten table of contents on the front pastedown, as noted above; there is a circular ex library blindstamp on the title page (Cardinal Kayes Library / Manhattan College / New York) and a few other minor library numbers and marks on other pages; there are pencil translations and notes here and there, most notably on the title page of each paper; otherwise this bound collection is complete, tight, bright, clean and clear.
