Soft cover. Condition: Good. Softcover, 13 by 9 1/2 inches, 6 pages of text, in French followed by 64 illustrations mostly two per page, about 1/4 inch thick in total. The illustrated pages have a photo of a building or scene in pompei as it currently appears along with a drawn illustration by Louis Fischetti of what the scene looked like in antiquity. Covers have slight wear but a little dampstaining on the front cover with very slight damp wrinkling to title page. Rear cover has barely noticeable dampstain yet the rear endpaper has some damp wrinkling. Pages, which have tissue guards betwenn them, are clean. No date of publication, my guess c1920.

Hardbound. Condition: Very Good. Octavo, tan cloth with gold lettering a red capital, fold-out color topographic map, 40 pp., half-tones, fold-out of the General View of the Fresco in the Large Tricliniumin the Villa of Mysteries of Dionysus.

Hard Cover. First Edition. A poor copy in the original paper-covered boards. Part of the (unprinted) backstrip is missing, hinges are loose. The only redeeming quality of the book is the ownership signature of John Joseph Mathews (J.J. Mathews) on the front pastedown. Mathews was a well-regarded Native American writer from Oklahoma.

In 8°, cart. edit. (un po' sporco) con titoli. Pp. 118 con le dette figure in tavole fuori testo.

Cartoné con ligeros roces. formato 8º apaisado. 21 láminas con explicaciones, + plano desplegable. Libro.

Covers generally discoloured and marked. Edges and spine scuffed. Binding cracking within the text. Pages toned. Colour fold-out plan of Pompeii, correctly folded and with no tears. Fold-out of a frieze in the Villa of Mysteries, to the rear, slightly spotted. Many photos within the text. 40pp. "Descripted" by the author, with the English being a little awry in places. 4to. L S. OKt. mit Schnürbindung. Einband berieben und lichtrandig, Ecken und Kanten bestoßen, im oberen - und unteren Kapital leicht eingerissen. Am hinteren Buchdeckel eine Ecke fehlend, sonst gutes Exemplar. Mit vielen Abbildungen. Sprache: englisch / deutsch.
