Large folded colour map to front, with large tear to margin, crudely repaired with tape. The 74 photos of the authors travels are a key feature of the book, showing life on the canals and waterways during the early part of the twentieth century. Similarly, it is a remarkable contrast to the suffering being experienced during the winter of 1915-16 on the Western Front. More details available on request. (Uc3). Inscribed by Author(s).
