Owner's name neatly inked small upper fep, otherwise clean and tight in binding. Stylized portrait drawing of the poet by artist Zamorano located between the half-title and title page. Clipped DJ has a bit more wear. Same pale blue with dark red lettering. Sunned spine and edges. There is Some light spotting and rubbing. Chipping at the head and foot of spine, flap ends.

The rare first volume (issue) of this little magazine that was published by poet, editor, translator, playwright Jerome Rothenberg (b. 1931) in a total of five issues, from 1959-1963. Very good, well-preserved copy; wrapper age-toned at the hinge area, small light stain on rear panel and a smaller one on pg. 13; contents otherwise fine.
