This offering is a copy of The Hill of Vision, The Story of the Quaker Movement in East Africa, 1902 - 1905 written by Levinus King Painter in collaboration with Dr, Archie Bond, Fred Reeve and others. The book was published by East Africa Yearly Meeting of Friends in 1951 and appear to be a First Edition though it is not specifically stated as such. The book is in very good condition and, since it is a trade paperback, it has no dust jacket. The spine IS getting a bit brittle. It is NOT an ex-library copy and is 5 1/2" by 8 3/8" and has 153 pages with an Index, a Bibliography, a Table of Contents, and a section of older black-and-white photographs. Thank you!
