    No Binding. Condition: Fair. Portrait of Jacques-Benigne Bossuet. Born 27 September 1627 in Dijon, France. Died 12 April 1704 in Paris, France. Steel engraving, and Stipple engraving by Paitte (fl. 19thC), after Louis Pierre Henriquel-Dupont (1797-1892), c. 1835. Reasonable condition. Paper a bit browned and slightly soiled. Some spotting. A short right margin. Verso: blank. Note: in a very nice contemporary handcolouring. With the original piece of tissue paper and a printed biography on 11 pages (the paper with some minor staining). Note: dimensions reflect the entire leaf. Dimensions: 264 x 174 mm. Jacques-Benigne Bossuet was Writer, Bishop, Theologian, Court preacher to Louis XIV of France, Member of the Academie Francaise, Bishop of Meaux, and Bishop op Condom. c. 1835. Print.
