Full grown Royal Tiger "the only one in America" 9 feet in length, about 400 lbs. camel from Peru, "one of the most curious and singular animals ever exhibited in this country", the African ape, "resembling the human species very much" and others, admittance 25 cents. The return of the Frigate Macedonian from Colombia which was sent to rescue American prisoners (the British warship was captures by Capt. Stephen Decatur at the beginning of the war of 1812). British say Napoleon "a state prisoner" is in good health, counterfeit money in the South, a description of the July 4th celebrations from Washington D.C. to Portland, Maine, Death warrant of Richard Smith (this was a sensational story at the time, Capt. John Carson left for China in 1810 and was never heard from again, his wife, Ann, assuming that he was dead, married Richard Smith in 1815. Then in 1816 Carson reappeared and was killed by Smith, who in turn was hanged for killing Carson).
