Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

Edge rubbing to covers. Light spotting to the insides of the covers. The first page is detached and has a name in pen near the top. Browning to the edges of the pages. Original Cloth. Condition: Good. First Edition. There is quite heavy browning to the spine which is also stained in two places. There are several stains at the bottom right corner of the front panel and stains at the centre and bottom of the rear panel. The boards are discoloured in places with a few other light marks. The page edges have some browning. Price in pen at the top right corner of the front free endpaper and a one inch patch of surface damage at the top left corner of the front pastedown. The pages are a little browned but are generally otherwise unmarked. Colour frontispiece. No jacket. First printing.
