The authors complete the circle under the title, also in gilt lettering, the spine is similar with title and authors in gilt lettering and the publisher, the back cover is blank on the marbelized fabric. The covers and spine have evidence of water with color loss/whitening present. The back cover and spine are worst while the front cover only has a small whitened spot on the lower left near the spine.The back cover has slight warping and a small spot of paper from another book. Book plate from the former owner inside the front cover, browning around most page edges right page edges are rough cut. 29 illustrations (black & white photos) on coated pages. 8 chapters divided among countries the children lived in.The authors are all the children of the family.It is written from their point of view.The pages are clean and tight.
