This was the only work of poetry he ever published, and features an introduction from Patrick Braybrooke, who praises the kindness and warmness of his verses, with poem titles including 'To An Aged Priest', 'The Picture', and 'Legend'.With a frontispiece and six decorations from Raymond McGrath, an Australian-born architect, illustrator, printmaker and interior designer. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original cloth backed paper covered boards, with unclipped dust wrapper. Bump to back strip head and tail, otherwise externally excellent with boards exceptionally bright. Inscription to front free endpaper. Dust wrapper age toned, with small losses to back strip head and tail, and tape repairs to reverse in these locations. Wrap perimeters age toned, with edgewear to back strip tail, and small closed tear to front wrap head. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Very Good Indeed.
