Black cloth titled in gilt to front board; dust jacket. Light wear to bottom tips; mild rippling along top edge of leaves. Very good in like jacket, with edgewear and mild damp-rippling. English-language edition of this photobook of black-and-white photographs of Berlin "old and new," by German photographer Fritz Eschen (1900-1964). German edition apparently published as Junges altes Berlin (1956). This edition with a new preface, in English, by Patrick Lynch, and photo captions in English and German. Somewhat uncommon.
