In the fifties. New York artists opened cooperative galleries on Tenth Street. Elbows Akimbo was an avant-garde performance ensemble in the San Francisco underground scene of the late 1980s through the mid 1990s, founded by director Thomas Schulz and singer/songwriter, poet, and author Diana Rosalind. 11 x 17 inches.
