Binding sound. Two leaves with one-inch tears at the foot of the inner margin, running up along the gutter, with no loss. Pages otherwise unmarked, with occasional toning, spotting, and soiling.A collection of Paul R. Carmack's comic drawings of Snubs, the family terrier, first published as a series in The Christian Science Monitor and gathered here in book form. Each opening pairs a captioned spot drawing with a full page of cartoon panels in which Snubs narrates his misadventures with the Boss (young Sammy Simpson), the family, and the neighborhood, from soaking up milk like a sponge to outwitting an organ grinder's monkey.
