Remake of the 1949 Merian Cooper film, about a 15-foot-tall mountain gorilla in a wildlife preserve who is targeted by a vengeful poacher. Shot on location in Los Angeles and Kaua'i. Blue untitled wrappers. Title page present, dated January 22, 1997, noted as Revised First Act, with credits for screenwriters Lawrence Konner and Mark Rosenthal, and screenwriter Ruth Rose, who wrote the 1949 film. 113 leaves, with last page of text numbered 112.
