Hardcover. Condition: Very Good -. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Binding tight; interior is nice other than stamp on title page and ffep; previous owner name ffep. Royal blue cloth-covered boards in nice condition; bright gilt lettering and minor bumps to spine ends. Pages are rough cut with a few at the beginning uncut; light foxing to page edges and end papers. Pastel dust jacket in mylar; lightly soiled with chipping at corners; 2" closed tear upper rear. Mild musty smell. The tale of the historic British town written by its own Congregational Church pastor (Summers), with additions by Harold Peake and a chapter on "modern" Hungerford and an author bio by C. Camburn. 167pp. Printed for the Trustees of the Borough and Manor of Hungerford.
