First edition of this proposal by the socialist mathematician Peano's proposal for a national fund that could function simultaneously as a pension, insurance, and a savings institution. Open to anyone for monthly payments, the payer will receive the pension after twenty years but will be insured against accident at work, and the…ir payments will be held as savings. Their need to pay will be postponed in the case of illness or military service. Peano's system was in part designed so that a member who died before their pension was awarded would still benefit throughout their life. Octavo. Original wrappers printed in black.
