Elaborate prize presentation plate on front paste-down, indicating that the book was presented to one John Rouse by Iver Heath Council School for good attendance in 1915. A little internal spotting, else neat, clean, bright and firm. 8vo 0.

Before the advent of dust jackets, many books, especially those for children were bound in brightly coloured cloth with pictorial blocking in gold and colours, often on the spine as well as the front board. This volume is one of those, a part of the Kingston Library edition of Kingston's works for children.
