Illustrations include a bull musk-ox, a scene of skinning and cutting musk-oxen, a happy Eskimo family, a deck scene on the Roosevelt, a giant polar bear killed in Buchanan Bay, dragging a vanquished tiger of the north into camp, a collage of comparative pictures of various exploring ships including the Norwegian Fram, British Discovery, Scotch Aurora, Italian Stella Polare, American Roosevelt, and German Gauss, a scene of preparing to tow a dead walrus, a scene of walrus-hunters and their kill, and a portrait of Myouk, the bigamist of the tribe. Housed in protective mylar report cover.
