All-woman staff, series ran 1929 to 2008, early issues the scarcest, also known as "Children's Playmate Magazine," the title already in popular culture decades before Hefner's "Playmates of the Month." Several library holdings, including Texas A&M, Princeton, and Western Reserve Historical Society (Cleveland, OH). A nice entry collection of key issues. Included: V8 N7, December 1936, V9 N1, June 1937; V9 N2, July 1937 ("Li'l Napoleaon and the Watermillyun"); V9 N11, May 1938 (circus clowns); V10 N9, February 1939 ("Li'l Napoleon Says Thank You"); V10 N10, March 1939.
