44 pp. Good with spotting, stains to the upper edge and wear. Pelby (1793-1850) was a renowned Boston Actor. He was the manager of the Tremont Theatre and was the center of attacks on this new Theatre by rivals. He eventually founded other theatres in Boston. 14 copies found in libraries but an uncommon piece on controversy in the early American Theater.
