A group of manilla file folders containing Correspondence, Agents' Notes and Photographs for a number of cases (primarily investigations of infidelity, parental fitness, etc. ) compiled by Frederick G. Pence, principal of the Washington Detective Agency in Washington, D.C. There are ten file folders covering cases from 1930 to 1954. Some cases have simply a few pages of records, some are several items; comprising about 90 pages plus seventeen photographs (most 8" X 10", a few smaller). Clients names include: Stella Wohlfarth, Clara Coker, Meadows Case, Richard Reedy, Irene Moran, Loraine Daniels, Palmer Case, Walter Payton, Eugene Snyder, Stanley Brown, Sells/Winthrop Case, Sydney A.
