Thus the Kendrick Solow and Divisia Index of total factor productivity has been used in the present book. The Cobb Douglas Constant Elasticity of Substitution Variable Elasticity of Substitution and Translog Production function form of production function are used. The present book covers 161 industries group for the purpose of analysis. The data used for the analytical purpose are gathered through secondary sources for the period 1973 74 to 1997 98. Thus the validity and reliability of the results will depend upon the validity and reliability of the data.
