Exhibition catalog consists of foreword by distinguished Latvian critic of art Visvaldis Pengerots who introduced briefly exhibited artists and their art creations, list of presented works and 14 artwork reproductions. Also enclosed price-list. Development of Latvian visual arts was strongly influenced by historical events. The 15th May 1934 considered as "Latvia Renewal", when new national leader gave to country new direction and it came also to arts. During the period 1934-40 Latvian presence abroad in the form of art exhibitions was at it greatest. Exhibition held in Tallinn Art Hall presented paintings of 26 modernists and classic artists, watercolors and drawings of 6 artists and art creations of 7 sculptors. Totally were exhibited 153 works. This great collection of works included such artists as Janis Rozentals, one of the best Latvian portraitists, also postrait paintings by Ludolfs Liberts, Valdemars Tone, Otis Skulme; Latvian landscapes by famous painter and educator Vilhelms Purvitis and his students and followers Ansis Artums, Arvids Egle, Valdis Kalnrose, Edvards Kalnins, Arijs Skride, Edgars Värdaunis; mythological subjects by Jekabs Bine and illustrator Niklavs Strunke; reproductions of stage scenery by Janis Kuga, theatre drawings by Eduards Vitols; popular representations of the lives of peasants and fishermen by Karlis Miesnieks; younger generation post-Impressionist artists Jazeps Grosvalds, Jekabs Kazaks, Janis Liepins, Gederts Eliass etc.
