First edition, Limited edition with toothpick flag inserted in cover slot, signed by Kit Hinrichs, number 231. Condition is used, and there is some light wear on the black printed covers. Pages are unmarked and in excellent condition. From Pentagram: "Pentagram Papers 14: Stars & Stripes showcases Kit Hinrichs' 40 year old collection of Stars and Stripes objects. There have been 27 official flags since the nation's inception as a new star is added each time a state is inducted into the Union. With no official brand standards until 1912, when the last star was added, there was a lot of scope for variety.".

Of 150 numbered copies designed, printed and signed by Michael Tarachow on Arches Wove paper, this is letter A of 26 special copies signed by 16 of the living contributors. With 53 different handset typefaces and requiring 112 press runs to complete, amounting to nearly 28,000 impressions. Bound by Campbell-Logan. Loosely inserted are a bookmark with a wood engraving by John DePol, a Tarachow DePol wood engraved bookplate. and a compliments slip. A fine copy in archival mylar. Signed by Author(s).
