The bus is still the most widely used form of public transport in the world. An update of the previous "Piper Aircraft - The Development and History of Piper Designs" published in 1996, This book records production up to the end of 2005 and includes many new and previously unpublished designs and photographs, plus corrections to some errors that crapt into the previous book. Owing to the weight, extra postage/shipping will be required.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. A clean and crisp hardback copy in the publisher's original glazed pictorial boards. No dust jacket-as issued. 640 numbered pages. There is a circular embossed private ownership stamp in the bottom right-hand corner of the front free endpaper; the stamp is 'blind' (ie not ink) and therefore not too jarring or offensive. There is a little creasing at the head of the spine, and a couple of tiny creases on the bottom edges of the upper and lower covers (the surface on which the book sits). There is also a neat handwritten price in the top right-hand corner of the front free endpaper; unfortunately it has been written in pen and so can't be erased. Overall, a fresh and attractive copy with a few minor flaws. This substantial volume will require extra postage if ordered from overseas.
